Dresden

Dresden, the capital of Saxony in eastern Germany, is known for its stunning architecture, rich cultural heritage, and vibrant arts scene. Nicknamed the “Florence on the Elbe” due to its beautiful Baroque and Rococo buildings along the Elbe River, Dresden has been an important center of art and culture for centuries. Although it was heavily bombed during World War II, much of its historic center has been meticulously restored, making it one of Germany’s most picturesque cities.
