Köllnischer Park, in the Mitte district of Berlin, is a small historic park. Named after the medieval twin city of Cölln, later merged with Berlin. The park offers a mix of green spaces, cultural landmarks, and historic landmarks.
- Märkisches Museum
- This museum, situated on the park’s edge, showcases the history and culture of Berlin. It features exhibits on medieval Berlin, industrial history, and more. The building itself is a historic landmark with neo-Gothic architecture.
- Bear Enclosure (Bärenzwinger)
- Until 2015, the park housed living bears as a symbol of Berlin’s coat of arms. While the bears are no longer there, the enclosure remains and is sometimes used for cultural events and exhibitions.
