Kjeungskjær Lighthouse, built in 1880, is located on a small skerry at the mouth of Bjugnfjorden in Ørland Municipality, Trøndelag County, Norway, near the villages of Uthaug and Nes. It features a distinctive red, octagonal stone tower and a Fresnel lens that displays white, red, or green light, visible up to 8 nautical miles. Automated in 1987, the lighthouse historically housed keepers and now serves both as a navigational aid for coastal shipping and a protected cultural heritage site. Its remote sea location and unique architecture make it one of Norway’s most photographed lighthouses, accessible by boat for visitors.
